

JACKFRUIT SATAY
FLATBREAD
SERVES 2


INGREDIENTS
• 1 can Chef’s Choice Young Green Jackfruit in Brine
• 1 bottle Chef's Choice Satay Sauce
• 1 cup raw cashews
• 2/3 cup non-dairy milk
• 1 tsp fine sea salt
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 2-3 flatbreads
• onion, slices
• cilantro
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
INSTRUCTIONS
In a high-powered blender, add cashews, non-dairy milk, salt, and lemon juice.
Purée until smooth and creamy, and set aside.
Drain and rinse the jackfruit. Pat the jackfruit dries using paper towels.
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Put the jackfruit in and sautée until it's lightly browned.
Add 2/3 of the satay sauce and stir. Sautée until you see some char marks and take it off the heat.
Take a flatbread and spread on some cashew cream. Top with satay jackfruit, sliced onions, and cilantro.
Drizzle on some more satay sauce!
