35 Years today, the new Chef's Choice factory was established in its current location.  Over these 35 years, we have continually delivered the best quality food products worldwide.  We would like to extend a big thank you to all our loyal customers!!

Chef's Choice is proud to announce that we have been given the Thai Select award for our Chef's Choice Sweet Chilli Sauce and Thai Chilli Sauce (Sriracha Sauce).  These products are made from carefully selected fresh ingredients. They deliver authentic Thai tastes, yet go well with just about any dishes where a bit of zestiness is required.

 

The Thai Select Award has been issued by the Thai Ministry of Commerce in recognition of outstanding taste and quality.  Once you try our Sweet Chili Sauce and Thai Chili Sauce, they will definitely become your all-time favorite choice.

With our vision of delivering best quality products for the health and wellbeing of our customers, this new brand is created to serve innovative healthy products to the world. Our Chef's Choice products first entered the Middle East and African regions this year. Our canned coconut milk, coconut cream and sweet chili sauce are particularly very well liked in this market. Multiple Chef’s Choice’s products may be found across this area but our hub is Bahrain.

Chef’s Choice initially introduced Siam Kitchen as a premium brand for their coconut cream. The name Siam Kitchen is meant for the newly developed extra rich coconut cream that would enhance the goodness of Thai curries or other Asian recipe where coconut milk is required. Once the brand grew better recognized by the market for its high quality, we began to introduce other products including Sweet Chili Sauce and many other condiments under Siam Kitchen name.

Chef's Choice was certified with an exceptional score for the GMP standard since 2007 and has continued to do so to date. We always realize that our responsibility is to keep delivering the remarkable quality and safe foods to the consumers so continuous inspection and improvement are what we highly emphasized.  Major expansion has also taken place within the factory to accommodate the growth and demand for our products.

Along with the growth of Thai culinary, came the demand for authentic Thai ingredients. Further development in our R&D team enabled the factory to develop its new product lines covering sauces and condiments varieties.  This is when we started producing our premium Sweet Chilli Sauce and Curry Pastes.

New production lines were added on to accommodate the production of new canned tropical fruit range.  The tropical fruits were packed in various ways including fruits in syrup, in coconut milk and as juices.  This, of course, included the all-time favorite Coconut Juice with Pulp.

As the company focuses solely on the premium quality of our products, the brand is very well recognized as a high quality product by users around the world. Market expansion began taking place in the Asian countries.  Main markets in the region include Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan (R.O.C).

As Thai coconut milk was very well received by the global market and its demand grew rapidly, the factory has undergone a major expansion in size, machinery and labor.  The Ko brothers had also joined the business this year and P.S.H. Food Processing Ltd. decided that they would also take on the role of exporting by themselves. The company was then renamed to Chef's Choice Foods Manufacturer Company Limited.

In 1972, P.S.H Food Processing ltd. was finally established as the first canned coconut milk manufacturer in Thailand. The company started investing in machines to standardize the process of making coconut Milk. Pasteurized coconut milk, under the Samui brand, was made to cater for the local market while canned coconut milk, under the Chef's Choice brand, was intended for the relatively bigger export market.

The factory focused solely on the production side and relied on various international traders to distribute their product worldwide. Chef's Choice coconut milk was exported to North America, Europe and the Oceanic within the first year.

With the help of researcher from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Pui had come up with a method and formulation to pack coconut milk in cans. This new innovation gave Pui a new vision that he could produce delicious Thai coconut milk and share it with people in the rest of the world.

Pui Sui Heng, a young Chinese immigrant from mainland China started a small coconut shop at his house.  The shop was located right on Chao Praya riverside in Tha Tian area.  Whole coconuts were traded domestically and transported along the river.  From these humble beginnings, Mr. Pui soon became the largest coconut trader in the city.

Besides the exceptional food safety program, we also work hard to pursue superior operational standard namely BRC and ISO 9001:2008. This attempt simply ground upon our need to ensure customer requirements both in term of product quality and services as well as the need to be recognized as reliable manufacturer and supplier.
